Lomi Lomi Nui massage

Lomi Lomi Nui is an exotic ritual that originates from Hawaii where it was initially performed only in temples from where its name derives: ’caring hands massage’. It has a delicate but at the same time deep effect on joints and muscles.  During this massage therapists use their palms, fingers, knuckles, forearms and even elbows allowing the client to experience an overwhelming and exotic relaxation sensation. Lomi Lomi Nui differs from typical European massages in its characteristics and gracious dance-like movements performed by the therapist.

TURKEY:
Memories of Ankara [Turkish style massage]

Before the massage the client is asked to relax in the sauna for approximately 20 minutes – a steam bath helps to prepare the body for the intense massage that follows. The high temperature additionally helps to unwind and relax as a mental preparation for the treatment. Before the actual massage begins the therapist soaps the body from top to bottom cleaning it with sponges. The third and final stage is an intense and deep massage after which a cold shower is recommended.

Apart from its relaxing properties this treatment allows the skin to become well moisturized and supple.
